Botanisk Have is a well-kept botanical garden located near the University of Copenhagen. The address is as follows: Gothersgade 128, 1123 Kobenhavn, Denmark. It can be reached by walking 5 minutes toward the university from Norreport metro station.

The botanical garden is free to enjoy thus sparing the wallets of many budget travelers. It is a great place to spend an afternoon due to its location in a large park that also houses Copenhagen’s Statens Naturhistorie (Natural History Museum), Geologisk Museum (Geological Museum) and the the Botanical Museum.

The market is open Monday through Friday from 10 am to 7 pm, Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm or on Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm PST.
